            Baseball Recap: Monroe Township Falcons vs. Spotswood Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            Monroe Township lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Spotswood, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's   contest. The Falcons blew past the Chargers 6-0 on Tuesday. The Falcons not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 3rd (when they won  13-3).
 Andre Love looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He is becoming a predictor of Monroe Township's success: when he allows at  most two  earned runs the team is undefeated (and 6-12 when he doesn't).
 On the hitting side,  Jake Lobue was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Matt Linke, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.

Monroe Township's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 9-12. As for Spotswood, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe Township will welcome Robbinsville  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Ravens' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Spotswood, they will host Ewing  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
