Basketball Game Preview: Devils Lake Firebirds vs. Grafton Spoilers

The Devils Lake Firebirds will challenge the Grafton Spoilers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Devils Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Grafton likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Devils Lake didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Turtle Mountain, but they still walked away with a 69-64 victory.

Meanwhile, Grafton came up short against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg on Tuesday, falling 68-47. The Spoilers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Devils Lake's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Grafton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Devils Lake beat Grafton 60-50 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does Devils Lake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grafton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
