Volleyball Game Preview: Riverside Pirates vs. Burns Hilanders

Riverside hasn't had much luck against Burns recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 2:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Riverside came up short against McLoughlin and fell 3-1.

Burns had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Bailey Temple did her part to make it 17 on Thursday. The Hilanders came out on top against Vale by a score of 3-1 thanks in part to Temple, who had 24 digs and seven assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Burns walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Burns, their victory bumped their record up to 33-1-1.
