John Carroll Catholic skates past Jefferson Christian Academy with ease

The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 63-36 victory over Jefferson Christian Academy. The result was nothing new for John Carroll Catholic, who have now won three matches by 24 points or more so far this season.

Jefferson Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Allison Wormely, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds, and Jada Washington who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Wormely scored a full 52.8% of Jefferson Christian Academy's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

John Carroll Catholic pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. Oak Grove's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Jefferson Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Jefferson Christian Academy.
