Recap: Robertson Cardinals vs. Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes
The Robertson Cardinals entered their tilt with the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Robertson skirted past Pojoaque Valley 67-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Portales is ranked 26th, while Robertson is ranked 15th). Pojoaque Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lovington at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th. One thing working in Lovington's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches.
