Football Recap: Sadie O'neill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eastridge over Webster Schroeder

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eastridge can now relate to. They lost 32-12 to the Webster Schroeder Warriors on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Warriors are ranked fifth).

Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sadie O'Neill, who threw for 415 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and one TD. A healthy portion of O'Neill's aerial production (202 yards to be exact) went to Madyson Fizer.

Eastridge has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-2 record this season. As for Webster Schroeder, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

As of now, neither Eastridge nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
