Baseball Recap: Saunders Trades & Tech Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Saunders Trades & Tech was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to the Blind Brook Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 back in April.

Saunders Trades & Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jahdeis Burgos, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Jake Vaughan also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Saunders Trades & Tech's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Blind Brook, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12.

Coming up, Saunders Trades & Tech will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Gorton at 4:00 p.m. The Blue Devils are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Blind Brook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
