Soccer Game Preview: Caroline vs. Spotsylvania

Caroline hasn't had much luck against Spotsylvania recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will welcome the Knights at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Caroline is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against King George on Friday. They fell just short of the Foxes by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Spotsylvania was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Culpeper County, falling 7-2.

Caroline's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Spotsylvania, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Caroline beat Spotsylvania by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 1-0. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
