John Curtis Christian faced Holy Cross in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Patriots came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 21-13. The Patriots' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

John Curtis Christian was led to victory by Jacobi Boudreaux and London Padgett. Boudreaux gained 82 total yards and two touchdowns, while Padgett rushed for 50 yards.

John Curtis Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jewellz Tapp and Craig Connor.

John Curtis Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Holy Cross, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
