Soccer Recap: Franklin Community Has No Trouble Against Southwestern

Southwestern kept up with Franklin Community until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Grizzly Cubs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans.

Franklin Community hit Southwestern with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Moore Aybram, Dillon Ripken, and Fugate Gavin.

Franklin Community now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southwestern, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Community will host Decatur Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwestern, they will welcome Triton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
