Baseball Recap: Overhills' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Overhills finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pine Forest Trojans. The game marked the first time this year in which the Jaguars were not able to get on the board.

With the loss, Overhills broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5. As for Pine Forest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Pine Forest will be playing at home against Jack Britt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buccaneers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
