Basketball Recap: Wellington School Piles Up the Points Against Miller

Wellington School won the last time they faced Miller and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wellington School Jaguars blew past the Miller Falcons, posting a 55-22 victory. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Wellington School was led to victory by Elodie Ware and Dea Singh. Ware posted 22 points along with five boards and three blocks, while Singh had 14 points and five rebounds. Singh is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played.

Wellington School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points per game. As for Miller, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Wellington School has already played their next game, a 44-35 win against Grove City Christian on the 28th. As for Miller, they will be playing at home against Millersport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
