Miamisburg can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They blew past the Springfield Wildcats 12-1. That looming 12-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Mikaela Holp, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Megan Combs was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Miamisburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Miamisburg now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Springfield, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Miamisburg will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
