Soccer Recap: Aiken Takes a Loss

Aiken was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gilbert Indians. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Aiken couldn't quite close it out.

Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Gilbert, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10-2.

Coming up, Aiken will host Brookland-Cayce at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gilbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
