Volleyball Recap: Savana Womble and Tindall Ahrens Secure Win for Comfort

Comfort came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Jarrell Cougars 2-1. The Bobcats/Deer have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars on Saturday, too.

Comfort was led to victory by Tindall Ahrens and Savana Womble. Ahrens had 18 kills, 12 digs, and one block, while Womble had 23 assists and ten digs. That's the most kills Ahrens has posted since back in October of 2024.

Comfort's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Jarrell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

Comfort didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Del Valle on the 30th. Jarrell has also already played their next contest (against La Grange), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
