Basketball Recap: Texhoma Skates Past Fargo/Gage with Ease

Texhoma had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They claimed a resounding 75-45 win over the Fargo/Gage Bearcats. Given the Red Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Bearcats are ranked 377th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Texhoma pushed their record up to 16-9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points over those games. As for Fargo/Gage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Texhoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-48 win against Turpin on the 15th. Fargo/Gage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
