Baseball Recap: Pilot Grove Comes Up Short

Pilot Grove was the 14-2 winner over Sturgeon when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-1 to the Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pilot Grove's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Sturgeon, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Pilot Grove will square off against Community at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sturgeon has already played their next matchup (against Van-Far), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
