It was a good run, but Keller Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Southlake Carroll Dragons, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Dragons are ranked fifth).

Keller Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for Southlake Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-1-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keller Central will face off against Byron Nelson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Byron Nelson knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Keller Central likes a good challenge. As for Southlake Carroll, they will square off against Mansfield Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on March 21st. Southlake Carroll's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Mansfield Legacy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
