Basketball Recap: GEO Next Generation Tigers vs. Northeast Vikings

Northeast came into Friday's game looking for another win against GEO Next Generation, but Anderson Smith wouldn't allow it. The Tigers took down the Vikings 68-51 on Friday for which the team can thank Smith, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 23 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of GEO Next Generation's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Westley, who posted six points and five steals. Westley is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Northeast still got an impressive performance from Tyree Riley, who went 9-for-16 on his way to 25 points and four steals. Jermaine Matthews was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.
