Basketball Game Preview: St. James Sharks vs. Happy Valley Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the St. James Sharks will jump right back in to play the Happy Valley Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. James' tournament run continued when they took on C.A. Johnson on Friday. St. James enjoyed a cozy 41-26 victory over C.A. Johnson. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Meanwhile, Happy Valley had to endure a nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sullivan East 41-38. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

St. James' victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Happy Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
