Volleyball Recap: Summit Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Summit had won two straight games and Christian Salivio did his part to make it three on Wednesday. The Summit SkyHawks blew past the Rim of the World Fighting Scots 3-0 with plenty of help from Salivio, who had 24 digs and three aces. What's more, he posted two assists, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Summit's got stronger as the match went on, holding Rim of the World to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-12.

Summit now has a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit will welcome Eisenhower at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit is facing Eisenhower at the right time seeing as Eisenhower is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rim of the World, they will host Fontana at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rim of the World has now lost eight straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the fifth.
