It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Gadsden City had no problem doing just that on Monday. They beat the Huffman Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 60-46. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won five contests in a row.

Gadsden City's victory bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Huffman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-6.

Looking ahead, Gadsden City will face off against Oxford at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Oxford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Gadsden City likes a good challenge. Huffman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
