Baseball Recap: Bangor Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Bangor hadn't done well against Cassopolis recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Rangers 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since April 10th.

Julian Pullins was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Bangor is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Cassopolis, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Bangor will challenge Fennville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cassopolis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
