If Edgar was feeling good fresh off their 17-2 takedown of Newman on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 8-3 to the Stratford Tigers on Tuesday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Alyssa Kolano was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyson Kolano, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Edgar's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Stratford, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
