Ganesha Gets a Boost from Kelsey in 70-6 Win

Starting off the list is Ganesha's Albert Kelsey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kelsey rushed for 113 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Ganesha pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Kelsey and the Giants will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Puente at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.

Bassett came out on top against Mark Keppel on Thursday thanks in part to Gio Guerrero's efforts. Guerrero made his presence known, rushing for 134 yards and one TD on only five carries, while also catching one touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Bassett's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1-1. Coming up, Guerrero and the Olympians will host Savanna at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.

Keeping Guerrero company is Bradon Figueroa, a fellow Bassett player. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made six total tackles. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made six total tackles.

For the year, Figueroa has averaged 4.5 total tackles per game and for the season has 4.5 sacks.

Jeremiah Navarrette Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Jeremiah Navarrette posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 205 yards while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (108.2) per game.

On the year, Navarrette has averaged 108.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season, he was only averaging 0.5 rushing yards per game.

Henry Rodriguez's Big Game Leads Ganesha over Bernstein

Henry Rodriguez put up the most receiving yards he's had since back in August of 2024 on Friday. He picked up 68 receiving yards and one score.

This season, Rodriguez has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 35.7 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.
