Deer Valley won the last time they faced Westview and things went their way on Thursday too. Deer Valley blew past Westview 16-0. The Skyhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.
Adyson Ordway made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in February of 2024.
