Priory had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Santa Cruz Cardinals on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Priory got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mate Palotai out in front who posted 19 points. With that strong performance, Palotai is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jai Gerrodette, who had 15 points.

Despite the loss, Santa Cruz still got an impressive performance from Demarco Hunter, who earned 29 points. Hunter's big performance that evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Priory pushed their record up to 25-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Santa Cruz, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-12.

Priory has already played their next matchup, an 83-66 victory against Fresno Christian on the 15th. Santa Cruz does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
