River Valley extended their postseason success on Tuesday against ALA - West Foothills. They came out on top against the Guardians by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Dust Devils: when they faced off against the Guardians last Monday, they had to take a 11-7 defeat.

Zain Bruton was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

River Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for ALA - West Foothills, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-8.

Coming up, River Valley will challenge Valley Christian on Saturday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Dust Devils surely won't give up without a fight. ALA - West Foothills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
