Baseball Recap: St. Michael Drops Season-High Score on Tara

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Michael). They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over the Tara Trojans on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Tara, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Michael will challenge University Lab at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. University Lab's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so St. Michael's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tara, they will be playing at home against North Iberville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Iberville has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.4 runs per game on average), something Tara will no doubt try to take advantage of.
