York-Adams II recap Oct. 3, 2012
Kennard-Dale's Dan Hare rumbled for the longest rushing play in York-Adams II this season in his game against Red Lion last week. Hare's team fell to the Lions as he sprinted for 91 yards on the play and finished with 214 in all.
West York Area extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating William Penn, 38-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bulldogs.
West York Area's dynamic duo of Brandon Kinneman and Zach Smith proved tough for the Bearcats to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kinneman threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns and Smith had 156 yards receiving. Anthony Trone helped West York Area's passing attack out by catching one ball for 15 yards.
Ronald Miller's team's Kinneman and Smith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kinneman has thrown for 520 yards this season, while Smith, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 28 catches for 444 yards. Daniel Adams from Northeastern leads the league in rushing with 614 yards.
Two of the top units in York-Adams II will face off this week when the Bulldogs take on Susquehannock. West York Area's offense has scored 144 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Warriors have allowed only 180 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when New Oxford takes on the Bobcats. As it stands, the Colonials are in fourth, while Northeastern is in second.
