Football Recap: Lee's Summit Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lee's Summit took on Blue Springs on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 28-7. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Christian Dahn threw for 57 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Peyton Hatfield was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards. On the ground, Dayton Masters rushed for 33 yards.

Lee's Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blue Springs, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
