Basketball Recap: Quamare Meadows and Cash Stokley Secure Win for Narbonne

Narbonne won the last time they faced Banning and things went their way on Friday too. The Narbonne Gauchos enjoyed a cozy 48-34 victory over the Banning Pilots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gauchos.

Narbonne was led to victory by Cash Stokley and Quamare Meadows. Stokley went 8 for 13 en route to 19 points and seven boards, while Meadows went 5 of 6 on his way to 13 points and five assists. Stokley's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Sebastian Eleby was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.

Narbonne is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Banning, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-15.

Coincidentally, Narbonne and Banning will both be playing Gardena the next time they take the court. Narbonne will head out to face Gardena at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Banning will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
