Soccer Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Williams and Cedar Ridge had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Fighting Red Wolves on Monday. Williams haven't had much luck with Cedar Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Williams' goal came courtesy of Addison Durst, who's now up to seven this season.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Cedar Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams will host Riverside-Durham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Ridge, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Voyager Academy at 6:00 p.m. Voyager Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Cedar Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
