After losing to Sidney the last time they met, Lincoln decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lynx came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Jasmine Shields paced Lincoln's offense, picking up ten kills. Shields got some help from Emily Townsend and her 19 assists. Eliot Powers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 8-25. As for Sidney, they moved to 11-4 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Missouri Valley on the 18th. As for Sidney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lewis Central on the 18th.
