Soccer Recap: Socastee Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Socastee was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the St. James Sharks who were credited with the win. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against they this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat back in March.

Socastee's goal came courtesy of Paige Bailey, who's now up to 21 this season.

Socastee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. James, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Coincidentally, Socastee and St. James will both be playing Carolina Forest the next time they take the pitch. The Braves will host the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Sharks will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
