La Jolla won the last time they faced San Diego and  Aiden Farrell did his part to make sure it happened again. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Cavers  36-33 with plenty of help from  Farrell, who rushed for 202 yards and two  touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 107.5  rushing yards per game.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to La Jolla's defensive line and their four sacks.  Nicolas Bardaro was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself. La Jolla received some extra help from  Joseph Crudo, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
 San Diego's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jayden Harris, who threw for 254 yards and three  TDs.  Jayden Johnson handled things on the ground, rushing for 112 yards.
La Jolla's record is now 5-3. As for San Diego, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record  this season.
 La Jolla wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  41-35  defeat against St. Augustine on the 24th. As for San Diego, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  30-26  loss against Madison on the 24th.
