It was a good run, but North Adams unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to the Hillsboro Indians. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Green Devils came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Indians are ranked 444th).

North Adams' loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Hillsboro, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

North Adams will host Lynchburg-Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Adams knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lynchburg-Clay likes a good challenge. As for Hillsboro, they will square off against Blanchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
