Football Recap: Crimson Knights Drops Season-High Score on Irvington Preparatory Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crimson Knights). They blew past Irvington Preparatory Academy 38-12 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Crimson Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Crimson Knights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Max Foreman out in front who picked up 122 receiving yards and four TDs. Crimson Knights is 2-1 when Foreman posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. AJ Francis was another key passer, throwing for 160 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 passes.

The victory snapped Crimson Knights' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Crimson Knights will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Washtenaw S at 4:30 p.m. on October 11. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they will head out to challenge Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Irvington Preparatory Academy are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
