Softball Recap: Narrows Green Waves vs. Craig County Rockets
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Narrows). They walked away with a 17-14 win over the Craig County Rockets on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Green Waves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Narrows got a massive performance out of Braylee Robertson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Robertson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Spicer, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Narrows' win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Craig County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Narrows will take on Galax at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
