Basketball Recap: Central Christian Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moundridge, Central Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Attica Bulldogs by a score of 40-32. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Attica still got an impressive performance from Carter Swingle, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. That was a full 53.1% of Attica's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Mac Harnden was another key player, putting up nine points.

Central Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Attica, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Central Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 38-37 win against Stafford on the 17th. As for Attica, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-28 victory against Burrton on the 17th.
