Softball Recap: Twin Cedars Takes a Loss

Twin Cedars was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-3 to the B-G-M Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Twin Cedars' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for B-G-M, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Cedars will venture away from home to square off against Moulton-Udell on Monday. The Sabers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for B-G-M, they will head out on the road to take on North Mahaska at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
