Basketball Recap: Passaic Arts & Science Charter Takes a Loss

If Passaic Arts & Science Charter was riding high fresh off their 53-12 takedown of Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Passaic Arts & Science Charter fell 61-48 to the Rutherford Bulldogs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Passaic Arts & Science Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Rutherford is ranked 43rd).

Passaic Arts & Science Charter's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Rutherford, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Passaic Arts & Science Charter has already played their next game (against Science Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rutherford will challenge Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
