Lakewood took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodrow Wilson Bruins on Friday. The Lancers have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Joe Dizon was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Dizon was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That run was his first of the season.
