Basketball Recap: North White Comes Up Short

North White was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Twin Lakes Indians, falling 68-18. The Vikings were probably out for revenge after losing 79-40 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, North White still got an impressive performance from Dakota Phelps, who posted four points.

Twin Lakes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leo Dellinger out in front who went 6 of 15 on his way to 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Kyser, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and six rebounds.

North White's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Twin Lakes, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

North White wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-24 loss against Sheridan on the 28th. As for Twin Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-43 defeat against Elkhart on the 28th.
