Long County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bryan County Redskins with a sharp 9-1 win. The Blue Tide haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Bryan County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Long County will challenge Tattnall County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bryan County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Windsor Forest at 5:00 p.m. on February 21st.
