Volleyball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

Northridge was the 3-2 winner over West Field when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Northridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 25-21.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for West Field, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northridge is set to take on their familiar foe Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Field will face off against rival Roy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
