After a string of ten wins, Homestead's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Benet Academy Redwings.

Homestead was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Homestead still got an impressive performance from Avary Heady, who had ten assists and six digs.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Benet Academy, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Crown Point on the 27th. As for Benet Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hamilton Southeastern on the 27th.
