Volleyball Recap: Community Christian Beats Madison County for Their Third Straight Victory

Community Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Madison County Cowboys with a sharp 3-0 win. The Chargers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Cowboys, so the Chargers were just returning the favor.

Community Christian never let Madison County on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 27-25.

Avea (Smashburger) Casperson paced Community Christian's offense, picking up 22 kills. Casperson got some help from Sarah-Kate (Jarvis) Liddell and her 23 assists. Liddell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Madison County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
