Basketball Game Preview: Westside Rams vs. Laurens Raiders

The Westside Rams will take on the Laurens Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Westside comes in on five and Laurens on three.

On Friday, Westside strolled past Fountain Inn with points to spare, taking the game 53-36.

Jonovan Webb produced another solid performance putting up 15 points in addition to five assists and four steals. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Christian Webb-Scott, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 10 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Laurens earned a 76-66 win over Belton-Honea Path on Monday.

Laurens' victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Westside, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Westside came up short against Laurens in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, falling 54-49. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
