Volleyball Recap: Kalamazoo Central Takes a Loss

Kalamazoo Central lost against Plainwell back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Maroon Giants took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Kalamazoo Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-21-3 record this season. As for Plainwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-12-1 record this season.

Kalamazoo Central will face off against Portage Northern at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Plainwell, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Renaissance on the 18th.
